What these numbers mean: BMI (from height and weight) and waist circumference both reflect body fat, but waist circumference specifically flags abdominal fat, which is more closely tied to liver fat than BMI alone. GGT stands for gamma-glutamyl transferase, a liver enzyme reported on a standard blood/liver panel — it tends to rise when the liver is under strain. Triglycerides are a type of fat carried in your blood, and elevated levels are often associated with excess liver fat. The formula combines all four into a single 0–100 estimate.
